About us

The name of the society is Nordisk Kirurgisk Förening and its international designation is Scandinavian Surgical Society (SSS).

The purpose of the society is to promote:

• Scientific and clinical work as well as education within surgery in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden).
• Scientific and clinical exchange and cooperation between Nordic surgeons and with surgeons in other countries.
